Product Description
The 100% natural Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag is the world's finest baby sleep sack. Its remarkable natural merino fabric and award-winning design help your baby to sleep safely through the night. Crafted from superfine allergy-safe merino wool, the Merino Kids baby sleep sack is luxuriously soft and light upon your baby's body. It fits babies safely up to two years and its quality workmanship guarantees years of wear. Babies can take as long as a year to develop the full capability to regulate their own body temperature, which is why they often wake too hot or too cold. Only merino fabric has the remarkable natural ability to regulate body temperature and the Merino Kids baby sleep sack is ideal all-year-round for nursery room temperatures from 64°F to 75°F. It captures and circulates air to insulate your baby when the room temperature falls, and releases excess body heat and moisture as the room temperature rises, to create the perfect safe micro-climate around their body. Your baby has the freedom to move naturally in their Merino Kids baby sleep sack but they cannot slip underneath, nor wriggle out and wake uncovered and cold, as can happen with blankets. Parents get a good night's sleep with the peace of mind that their baby won't get too cold or too hot and their baby's head won't get covered. Reduces certain SIDS risk factors: promotes back sleeping; sleeveless for better air circulation; fabric stays clear of baby's face; reduced risk of overheating due to merino's natural body temperature-regulating capability. The innovative safety belt aperture allows the sleep sack to be worn safely in car or stroller, making it easy to transfer them asleep to and from their crib. 100% natural long staple cotton outer layer for extra durability. Opens up flat for easy dressing. Unzips from the bottom for quick diaper changes. Free matching travel bag included. Machine washable. Can be tumble-dried. Contains no polyester. Naturally fire resistant.

5 out of 5 stars Best sleeping sack ever!   July 30, 2010
Raquel Coelho (San Francisco, CA)
This sleeping sack is so much better than anything else out there! It's expensive, yes, but it's worth every dollar. The quality and construction are top notch, they are really beautiful and thick, so they feel more like a nice blanket than other sleeping sacks i tried before. In addition, they are available in bigger sizes (up to 4 years, i think). This is really an excellent choice. You won't regret.

4 out of 5 stars Sleeping great!   July 5, 2010

I bought this for my baby because she was outgrowing her other polyester sleeping bag. She's a tall baby so I liked that this was big enough for a 2 year old. She was already sleeping well, but she stirs less at night in this sleeping bag. I assume it's because she is bothered by temperature changes less. Her other sleeping bag was long sleeve so now I have to make sure she always has something long sleeve on because I'm a bit paranoid about her arms getting cold. It is very well made and soft. I would have rated it a five, but I wish it didn't have tags on it and the info was sewn on.

5 out of 5 stars Worth every cent!   May 3, 2010

I got this sleep sack for my 2 year old boy as he continuously kicks his blankets off at night and I was worried about him getting a cold in our drafty house.
It was such a great purchase, worth EVERY cent! We use it every night and he just loves getting into it as it's so warm and cuddly. My friend had warned me that sometimes with sleep sacks if it gets too hot they can wake up all sweaty but I haven't found this at all with this sleep sack, must be because of the merino wool, it seems to breath really well (another reason I just LOVE it).

3 out of 5 stars didn't do the trick   February 13, 2010

this sleep bag is very nice - soft, easy to wash. I was very excited about the good reviews and purchased hoping that our 3-month old baby would sleep without getting cold during the night. but unfortunately, the bag did not do the trick - the baby kept waking up with very cold nose and hands (hands are open so it's not surprising) even though he had warm pjs or onesies underneath so I had to use extra blankets with the bag. At our place the night temperature is 68-70 F which is in the middle of the 64-75 range indicated in this product's description. I'm keeping the bag though - it's nice and should work well later in warmer spring and fall time.

4 out of 5 stars Nice bag   January 10, 2010

This is a nice bag. The way it zippers is really handy as I can snap and zip her in after I put her down. I wish I would have gotten the thicker one as I wonder if it's really enough at 65. The length is great as I know she will fit it for a long while. I would love it more if it were organic. For a newborn, I would buy one of the all merino wool bags. Just couldn't find any long enough for my baby now. Started using at 7 months. Will most likely buy next size when she grows out of this one.
